How Much Will the New iPhone Cost?

Paul

pexels-photo-93820This week, Apple announced the next iPhone that will be out and the world was surprised: there was another one! Not only will iPhone be releasing the anticipated iPhone 8 and 8 Plus, but they will be releasing the iPhone X, which will be known at the iPhone 10. With all the rumors that spread about the costs, one must be wondering how much will the new iPhone cost and when can you get one?

New iPhone Cost

For those who liked the Rose Gold iPhones, it appears that Apple will not be bringing it back for the 8, 8 Plus, or X. Their colors will come in Silver, Gold, and Space Gray, all at the same price for the same number of gigabytes. So, how much will the new iPhone cost you?

·         iPhone 8

The iPhone 8 will cost $699 for 64GB and $849 for 264GB.

·         iPhone 8 Plus

For 64GB, the 8 Plus will cost $799. The 256B will cost you $949.

The iPhone 8 and 8 Plus will be avaible for pre-order September 15 or available in store September 22.

·         iPhone X

As rumored, this new iPhone will be practically $1,000 for the 64GB which is exactly $999 and the 256GB which is over that at $1,149.

The iPhone X will be available for pre-order October 27.

iPhone 8 and 8 Plus

What will the difference be between the iPhone 8 and the current 7? Like most transitions of iPhones, the 8 will be offering an altered look with some new specs.

All-Glass Design

The iPhone 8 will be made of the most durable glass on a smart phone, covered entirely on the front and the back. Around the edges will be a color-matched, aerospace-grade aluminum band. The colors are Space Gray, Silver, and Gold.

Water and Dust Resistant

Engineered to be water and dust resistant, the iPhone 8 will stay clean and fresh without damage from water.

Wireless Charging

One big difference from the 7 is the wireless charging capabilities. The glass back allows it to charge wirelessly while still being capable of charging on a cord. The Airpower Mats will be the charging device where you can set your iPhone, Watch, or Airpod on to charge them.

Retina HD

The new iPhone brings a better screen display. The new True Tone adjusts white balance to match the lighting around you, giving you the best display wherever you may be. It also has a wide color gamut and 3D touch.

iOS 11

With every new iPhone comes a new system. The iOS 11 is definitely a little updated from the iOS 10. It will have a slightly altered display of the Control Center and faster processing. You’ll also be able to pay your friends through messages and there will be augmented reality games and apps.

iPhone X

When rumors were traveling around social media platforms about an all-screen phone with no home button and face identification, the world wasn’t really too shocked when Apple revealed the iPhone 8 to be not all that different from the 7. But, when they revealed the X, people were pleasantly surprised to see those rumors had been true.

Design

The iPhone X is all-screen on the front. All 5.8 inches comes equipped with Super Retina display, True Tone, and HDR. It is the first OLED screen, which allows the entirety of the screen all the way to the edges to be used to its capability. The all-glass and surgical-grade, stainless steel phone is also water and dust resistant with the wireless charging.

Home Button

There is no home button on this phone. To access the phone, all you have to do is swipe the screen. Many other functions that were accessed through the home phone have also been adjusted to a swipe or one of the side buttons.

Face ID

Your face is your password on the iPhone X. The phone uses facial mapping to detect your face with over 30,000 invisible dots to create the map. You can use the Face ID for Apple Pay and to unlock the phone. It works when you want it to. This means that as you turn your head to look at your phone, it will keep the screen lit while you read any notifications or messages received.
